Gently Used Products

Happy 2011 All!
So this year I will NOT buy every product reviewed in hair blogs or on YouTube. In my quest to find the right product or combination there of to make my curls pop, I have acquired a small fortune of now gently used products that my hair does not like and have come to the conclusion that maybe my hair just doesn't pop.

Question: What do you do with your gently used products that you know you are not going to use again?
  •  Throw them away?
  • Gift them to your curl friend?
  • Keep them under the bathroom sink?
  • Trade them at hair meetups?

Hair for the Holidays

Tis the season to be cute!
Not that cuteness is confined to just one season ::wink::
In the middle of all the lights and love and decking the halls, what are your hair plans for holidays?
This can be a busy time with all of the social events to attend, family and friends to enjoy, so don't forget to treat yourself and your hair to some seasonal bliss. Remember to keep everything within moderation; stress, rest, indulgences, all of it. Whatever your plans are, have a great hair holiday!

Wilderness Curls

For those of us still in the wilderness...
I started this blog for all of you naturals out there who still going though their natural hair journey. Some maybe brand new, freshly Big Chopped or transitioning. Others, like myself, may have had many years without the creamy crack (relaxer) and are yet being awakened how to grow, protect and care for our natural hair, but still need some assistance. It is for those who haven't quite completed their journey.
For the past year there has been a drastic drop off in vlogers who posted frequent updates for those of us hungry for the miracle combination of product and technique that would make our hair manageable and stylish. These women who have helped pave the foundation for the visual natural hair care renaissance have since found their hair zen and have stopped posting.
This blog is intended to comfort, encourage and support curlies of all types who are miles away from large bodies of water and battling dryness, to comfort those who need it with the encouragement to keep the quest for healthy hair alive and to show support to know that you're not alone!
